Attractions Guide - (Equivalent APS Level 2 - Casual)
To be eligible to work with the NCA applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen
- be willing to undergo a medical examination if applicable
- undertake a security assessment to the requisite standard
- have completed the 'redundancy benefit period' if you received a redundancy benefit from an Australian Public Service (APS) agency or a non-ongoing Commonwealth employer.
The National Capital Authority (NCA) invites highly motivated people interested in working on a casual, non-ongoing basis, to register their interest to join this dedicated team. Primarily based at the National Capital Exhibition (NCE), Regatta Point, we deliver an exemplary style of service to all of our visitors. In addition to the our local, domestic and international visitors, thousands of students and their teachers make their way to the NCE each year to experience our education program which focuses on the past, present and potential future of the Nations Capital.
Positions are offered via a specialised recruitment agency under a labour hire arrangement on a irregular/intermittent (casual) term. Annual salary is paid on a 'pro rata' hourly basis based on the recruitment agencies current employment conditions.
