York Park Heritage Management Plan

The York Park North Oak Tree Plantation is a collection of Oaks in the central of Canberra. It is listed on the Commonwealth Heritage List. The plantation is located at the northern end of York Park.

The National Capital Authority has prepared a Heritage Management Plan to guide the management of the York Park North Oak Tree Plantation. The purpose of this report is to identify, protect and manage the heritage values of the place.

The management plan was prepared in accordance with the heritage management principles and requirements set out in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. The final plan has been considered by the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities.
