The National Capital Authority (NCA) invites public comment on a draft Development Control Plan (DCP) to guide future development at the Gold Creek Tourist Area in Nicholls.

The NCA has received a request from Knight Frank on behalf of the owners of Block 12 Section 83 Nicholls (National Dinosaur Museum) to amend the current DCP (12/04) for the Gold Creek Tourist Area. If approved, DCP 14/01 will amend access and landscape requirements for the area.

The draft DCP has been prepared within the framework of the National Capital Plan and the Territory Plan.

The draft DCP can be downloaded at www.nationalcapital.gov.au/haveyoursay, or viewed at the NCA reception.

A public information session will be held on Wednesday 26 February 2014 between 12.00pm and 1.30pm at the NCA Offices.

Written comments will be received until 5pm AEDST, Thursday 27 March 2014.

Comments will be assessed before a decision is made on the draft DCP.
