The National Capital Authority has this week commenced replacing the existing timber stairs located between Russell car parks 48 and 59 with concrete stairs to be constructed on site. Both sets of stairs are expected to be completed by early September 2015. One set of stairs will be replaced at a time so that the second stairway remains accessible between the two car parks. A temporary traffic management plan, which includes pedestrian management, has been implemented.
