The water in Lake Burley Griffin was returned to its normal level at 4pm yesterday.

Lake Burley Griffin was lowered in late 2011 to undertake major engineering works on Scrivener Dam.

Lights out for Earth Hour

The National Capital Authority will turn off the lights of several icons in Canberra's central area this Saturday in support of the Earth Hour climate change awareness event.

Jingle Bells at the National Carillon

The 13th Annual Christmas Eve at the Carillon concert will be held from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The free concert will feature a range of Christmas music performed by senior carillonists, Astrid Bowler and Thomas Laue.

Yarralumla Bay Open to all Users

The National Capital Authority advises Yarralumla Bay is now open to all users.

The area was temporarily closed on 25 March 2013 following a sewage leak at Yarralumla Bay in Yarralumla.
