The National Triangle lies within a landscape appreciated for its rich history and historical associations, unique design, aesthetic characteristics, and social value. It is home to many places, including Lake Burley Griffin, valued for their heritage significance.
The importance of this area is recognised through its inclusion on the Commonwealth Heritage List as the ‘Parliament House Vista’.
