Over the next six weeks works will take place on sections of Barrine Drive, Flynn Drive and Commonwealth Avenue Bridge to support investigations as part of the design phase for the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge Renewal Project.

Works will impact both directions of Commonwealth Avenue Bridge, with the fast lane and middle lane to be closed to traffic. One lane will remain open to traffic in both directions with speed limits reduced to 40km/h.
Commonwealth Avenue - Northbound - Flynn Drive to Albert Street
Commonwealth Avenue - Southbound - Albert Street East to King Edward Terrace
Works will impact both directions of Barrine Drive between Albert Street (north) and Albert Street (south). Only one direction of traffic will be closed at a time, with stop and go arrangements in place. Traffic controllers will be directing traffic through the work zone with speed limits reduced to 40km/h.
Works will impact both directions of Flynn Drive between Kaye Street and King Edward Terrace. One lane will remain open to traffic in both directions with speed limits reduced to 40km/h. Access to and from Commonwealth Avenue Bridge will be maintained at all times.
