Road and Car Park Closure - Senator Neville Bonner AO Commemoration

The Museum of Australia Democracy (MoAD) front car park and sections of King Edward Terrace and Parliament Square will be closed as required from 7:00am Tuesday 16 September to 7:00pm Wednesday 17 September 2025 to facilitate unveiling of the new Senator Neville Bonner AO Commemoration.

Please follow all road signs and traffic marshals.

Car Park Closure

Part of the Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD) front carpark will be closed as required from 7:00am Tuesday 16 September to 7:00pm Wednesday 17 September 2025.

Road Closures

Parliament Square (West): from King George Terrace to Queen Victoria Terrace will be closed as required from 7:00am Tuesday 16 September to 7:00pm Wednesday 17 September 2025.

King George Terrace (both directions): Parkes Place West to Parliament Square (East) will be closed from 10:00am to 11:30am on Wednesday 17 September 2025.

Please note: some roads/car parks may open earlier and where no longer required to facilitate event activities and attendee safety.
