Road Closures - Heavy Patching - Constitution Avenue and Creswell Street

To facilitate heavy patching works, Constitution Avenue will be closed in both directions between Kalma Way and Blamey Crescent from 7:00 am Saturday 20 September 2025, reopening by 6:00 am Monday 22 September 2025. Local traffic will be able to enter. No driveways or businesses will be blocked during these works

Heavy patching on Constitution Avenue

The following closures will be in place from 7:00 am Saturday 20 September 2025, reopening by 6:00 am Monday 22 September 2025:

  • Constitution Avenue - Both directions - between Kalma Way and Blamey Crescent.
  • Creswell Street - Both directions - at Constitution Avenue.

Works will take place Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025 - 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. 

There will be changes for public transport. For details visit Transport Canberra.

In the event works are unable to be completed as planned, they will be carried out during the same hours the following weekend (Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September 2025).

Heavy Patching on Creswell Street

Thursday 25 and Friday 26 September 2025 - 9:30 am to 3:30 pm daily.

  • Creswell Street - Both directions - at Constitution Avenue.
  • Constitution Avenue - Westbound - between Kalma Way and Blamey Crescent (lane closures only)
