Please be advised that lane closures are in place to support the investigation works as part of the design phase of the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge renewal project.

Proposed work dates are subject to weather. 

 

Please note these works are not connected with any Light rail projects.

Lane Closure

Changes to traffic conditions include a 2-lane closure. 

One lane will be open with a reduction in speed to 40km.

Commonwealth Avenue - Southbound - Albert Street East to King Edward Terrace

Shared Path

Will remain open and is not included in the lane closures
