Experience the vibrant flavours and culture of Japan at Canberra’s first Japan StrEAT Party, held at Patrick White Lawns from 27 to 29 March 2026. This free, three-day outdoor festival brings authentic Japanese street food, market stalls and cultural energy to one of Canberra’s most scenic lakefront spaces.
Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of Japanese food from a variety of vendors, including popular karaage chicken stand. With its expansive lawns, lakeside views and proximity to national landmarks, Patrick White Lawns provides the perfect festival backdrop and offers convenient access and nearby parking.
