The National Police Remembrance Day Ceremony (NPRD) is an annual commemorative event held to honour and remember police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The National Police Memorial marks its 20th anniversary on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, coinciding with National Police Remembrance Day.

The event includes a convoy over Kings Avenue Bridge and a Ceremony to take place at the National Police Memorial in Kings Park.

Wendouree Drive - both directions - Kings Avenue to National Carillon 

3:00pm - 5:00pm

Blackall Street - both directions - Allardyce Street to Kings Avenue

4:00pm - 5:00pm

Kings Avenue/ Kings Avenue Bridge - both directions - King Edward Terrace to Parkes Way/Morsehead Drive

Car Park Closure 

4:00pm - 5:00pm 

John Gorton Building Multi-level Car Park

March Route: Commencing at Blackall Street, Barton, proceeding along Kings Avenue, and concluding at Wendouree Drive, Parkes.
