The NCA manages many heritage places on behalf of the Australian Government. Under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act), the NCA manages the following heritage listed places:

National Heritage Listed Places

  • Anzac Parade (as part of ‘Australian War Memorial and the Memorial Parade’ Listing)
  • High Court-National Gallery Precinct

Commonwealth Heritage Listed/Nominated Places

Management Plans

The NCA has prepared Heritage Management Plans or heritage assessments for all these places (except the Acton Peninsula sites and the Commencement Column Monument, which will be completed in 2014-2015). The Heritage Management Plans are available through the NCA website.
