Clarity
The London Crct plan is great. I like to ask why the specified upgrade of the C'wealth Bridge appears not at the same time to be catering for. aiming for the Light Rail? Your report states ( p21) it is is for:
" Bridge strengthening to increase its load bearing capacity
Bridge widening to accommodate wider active transport facilities for pedestrians and cyclists
Safety barrier upgrades" .
Unless the load bearing capacity increase and widening is meant also for the "tram", for which also widening of surface would be required, this seems to imply that a second bridge upgrade is required for it. ( Unless of course you include in "active transport facilities for pedestrians and cyclists" precisely that light rial, implying perhaps that one can take one's bicycle on board of the tram. )
' Load bearing capacity increase' I read as making it suitable for more and heavier trucks.
Cheers
