What a ridiculous proposal. Turning a perfectly functioning overpass into a signalised intersection. There is already such a huge volume of traffic on Commonwealth Avenue, this will result in traffic gridlock. And all for what - so some developers can cash in on some new land? The losers of this proposal is everyone living on the Southside of Canberra. Also a perfectly functioning exit onto Parkes Way will be closed off, forcing people to drive through the city to get back to Parkes Way.
