Submitter: Rebecca HillRaising of London Circuit
I am not sure whether it is such a good idea to demolish the bridges that connect London Circuit with the rest of the city area or not just to raise the area this busy part of the city. I like things the way they are, having known the current layout of the area all my life. It might be a disruption to the time I have to allow me to get my other 53 and 31 bus connections to work at Goodwin Ainslie and back home on the 58 again to Curtin if the works go on for a long time.
Temporary works on Vernon Circle
In regards to the temporary works on Vernon Circle, it might be nice to turn that area of the city into a park for office workers to go and have lunch there every day if they want to, along with planting a few more trees there, getting rid of dead ones and controlling the weeds properly. There needs to be a proper control program also in order to control the large number of feral rabbits who live in warrens in the area permanently. I regularly catch the R4, R5 or 58 buses around that area to get to the Civic Bus Interchange and other bus connections 53 or 31 to my work at Goodwin Ainslie regularly and often think about this each time I go past it.
Just one concern is the temporary works in the area might cause my travel to take longer to get into the city and miss my vital bus connections to work or getting home afterwards.

Signalisation of traffic at the intersection of Parkes Way and Coranderrk Street
I would definitely like to see a bit of a slowing down of the fast moving cars which travel fast along the busy intersection of Parkes Way and Coranderrk Street in the city area. Signalising would be a good idea and would definitely make the area a bit safer in the morning and afternoon at peak hour. It would also definitely make it a bit safer for any older residents from nearby older suburbs in the area to be able to cross the road safely, as well as any school children who go to school in the area.
