Submitter: Paul GrayRaising of London Circuit
I very much agree with the comments made by Colin Walters, Murray Upton and others. The main purpose of the Raising of London Circuit is to facilitate a route for the Woden Light Rail system. In the process it will ruin access from Commonwealth Avenue to eastbound Parkes Way, instead diverting traffic though London Circuit and Constitution Avenue. Northbound travel from Parliament and the diplomatic quarter will be significantly disadvantaged. “The RLC and associated programs should not be approved until the whole of the extension to Woden has been validated through rigorous cost benefit analysis and all necessary approvals have been obtained.”
