This semi-circular park adjoins the House of Representatives Garden at Old Parliament House.
Constitution Place was originally developed by Charles Weston, Canberra’s first superintendent of parks and gardens. It was officially named in 1998 during the Fourth Constitutional Convention, complementing Magna Carta Place at the western end of Old Parliament House, and remains a calm space in the heart of the National Triangle.
