The Carillon and QEII Island will be closed weekdays from Tuesday 10 March between 7:00am - 5:00pm while maintenance work occurs. This work is likely to take several weeks. A completion date will be informed early stages of works to establish the extent of the works.
Our Wednesday lunchtime concerts will also be paused during this time.
All works are weather dependent.

Queen Elizabeth II Island (formerly known as Aspen Island) is a man-made island in Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra. The site of the National Carillon, the island was created during the construction of the Lake in an effort to reduce the power of the inflow from East Basin.
