Block 1 Section 21 Parkes - Construction of the John Gorton Campus Carpark Building

The National Capital Authority (NCA) has received a works approval application for the construction of a multi-storey car park structure adjacent to the John Gorton Building, Kings Avenue, Parkes, ACT.

The proposal includes the following key elements:

• Car park structure with 1,070 spaces.
• Childcare centre and outdoor play area.
• Landscape works.
• Roadworks, including upgrades to the Blackall Street/Kings Avenue intersection.

The proposal has been referred under the relevant provisions of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, see EPBC Act Public Portal for more information.
